Roy is a partner in the firm and has over 28 years of experience in a number of areas including Commercial Litigation, Estate & Probate Litigation, Domestic Relations, Construction Law, Personal Injury and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Roy graduated cum laude from University of Georgia School of Law where he served on the Editorial and Managing Board of the Georgia Law Review and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1978. Roy is admitted to practice in the Court of Federal Claims, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States Distrcit Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, as well as in all Georgia courts. He is a frequent lecturer on construction, probate and commercial law topics. Roy is also a registered arbitrator and mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. He has been selected as a Georgia Super Lawer in the area of business litigation and is rated “AV” Preeminent by his peers according to Martindale Hubbell.
