Gennie G. Long is a partner with Meyer & Sayers LLP. Gennie’s practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate, and qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs).  Gennie is an alumna of the University of Tennessee where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and graduated summa cum laude.  She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law.  While in law school, Gennie served as Editor-in-Chief of Transactions:  the Tennessee Journal of Business Law and also served as a Student Materials Editor for the Tennessee Law Review.  Prior to joining the firm, Gennie practiced for five years with the firm Evans | Petree PC in Memphis, Tennessee in the areas of estate planning, ERISA and employee benefits, tax and general corporate matters.  Professionally, Gennie is a member of the Savannah Estate Planning Council and the Savannah Bar Association.  Gennie is a member of the Advisory Board for The Salvation Army of the Coastal Empire, a member of the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Savannah (Secretary), and a past member of the Emerging Leaders Committee of the Savannah Community Foundation.  Gennie is licensed to practice in both Georgia and Tennessee.
